Health Benefits

Some studies in different university stated that the leaves of soursop can help in treating various diseases. The leaves of soursop are used for the treatment of cancer (it has an active ingredient called “annonacina”, which acts on cell disorders), diabetes, can be used to cure gout (uric acid), constipation, rheumatism, stimulate the immune system and prevent infections. In some parts or the world, for examples in the West Indies, soursop leaves are used as a sedative, while in the Netherlands they are used to make a beverage to enhance sleep.

Uses – Usage

As infusion or tea boiling, putting the leaves in 3 cups of water until reduced to 1 cup or micro powdered in capsules. As many others alternative or non-chemical medicines are discovered for their healing properties, it is a good idea to tell your doctor, so he can follow up your medical condition. It also can be used for making deserts, juices, candies smoothies, and ice cream. It is a very tasty fruit.
